Parc du Colborne

Parc du Colborne is a vacation spot offering hiking and mountain-biking trails, a site for scuba diving and kayaking (no lifeguard), a scenic lookout and three rustic seaside cottages. This commemorative park is named for a ship that sank after hitting the rocks at Pointe-aux-Maquereaux during the night of October 16, 1838. A 10-kilometer hiking trail leads past cliffs and exposed fossils, providing access to the Colborne shipwreck site.
